The Munster championships took place over the weekend at Foynes Yacht Club and turned out to be a great success with 14 boats competing.
We had 2 races on Saturday which was sunny with light breezes for the first race which saw Jim Carthy take the honours from Vincent McCormack in second and Enda Weldon coming in third.
The wind picked up slightly for race 2 which again saw Jim Carthy in first with Frankie Brown second and Enda Weldon in third.
We had one race on Sunday in fairly strong gusty conditions and once again Jim Carthy did the business to make it 3 straight wins with Frankie Brown in Second and Brian McNally finishing third.
