Notice of race for the 2016 Dublin Bay Mermaid National Championship happening at Howth Yacht Club from the 4th – 7th of August is now available at http://hyc.ie/open-events. Once you click the link, scroll down to the appropriate event where you also have the option to enter online and view the list of already entered boats.
The first race of the Championship will be on Thursday the 4th of August and the Race Committee will be aiming to get at least 2 races in per day. Other important information including accommodation and camping facilities can all be found in the Notice of Race document. Please ensure you read this document carefully and if you have any questions feel free to contact Howth Yacht Club directly by emailing office@hyc.ie or the Mermaid Sailing Association by emailing honsec.msa@gmail.com.
There will be a Championship BBQ on Saturday the 6th of August and racing may or may not be held on Sunday the 7th at the discretion of the Race Committee, depending on how many Championship races have already been successfully completed.
